Who We Are

Food Port is a grocery store chain. Food Port Milton is conveniently located at the intersection of Regional Road 25 and Derry Road. Food Port Mississauga will be open in April, 2012. It is located at 720 Bristol Road West.

Food Port provides a neighbourhood store atmosphere with the ability to offer a variety of goods at prices comparable to a large chain. Our customers are always amazed by the amount they can find and save by shopping at Food Port.

"Fresh is in," is one of our commitments. Customers find persistently fresh meats, breads and produce in store. How does Food Port do it? Food Port’s meats are sourced from authorized distributors who undergo rigorous health inspections. The meat is then freshly cut and packaged in our store. This process delivers meat to our customers at least two to three days earlier than other grocery stores. Our newly installed state of the art baking equipment provides freshly baked breads and pastries daily. Food Port has a transportation team that delivers produce directly from the Toronto Wholesale Produce Terminal six times a week. We will continue to fine tune our processes to constantly ensure that "Fresh is in."

Our culture is to treat our customers like a family member and to provide speedy and quality services. Enough cashiers are on staff to ensure that no customer needs to stand in line for a long time. Our experienced employees are found throughout the store and are always looking to help. Some of our customers even know our cashiers and staff by name, even though there is no name tag on their uniforms.

Food Port also provides a spacious, quiet and clean shopping environment. The store has ample parking spaces outside and the shopping hours are carefully designed to meet customers’ needs.
